  • Calcium Shell theory – tissue breakdown and inflammation – become very hard on the outside and fragile on the inside; armor but falling apart
  • Calcium moves from bones to fascia; the body and mind become rigid
  • You have to go in reverse through the steps
  • Severe trauma is complete numbness which may feel good, but you have to go back through symptoms to move towards healing; this is regulation
  • Trauma is non-verbal
  • Need to consider voltage, fascia, energy, movement, and the sacred
  • Must access the body’s hidden language
  • Psychedelics may be dissociation tools; they are coping
  • Healing means presence over escape
  • Are you fighting for or from your flesh? We are here to feel it, not escape it
  • Fascia remembers the way through
  • TRE is not magic; it is primal; what did the body know before it was told to be quiet
  • Every mammal shakes to release trauma
  • Neurogenic tremors release trauma
  • Trauma is not a mind and body event; deeply entangled with the soul
  • Soul fragmentation is very real and not poetic
  • A safe haven with the body is unable to fight or flee; the soul withdraws to protect itself until safety can be restored and reintegration occurs
  • Soul lifts out of the body to survive
  • This not dysfunction, it is design; healing means calling the soul back
  • Numbness is not the absence of feeling but the absence of embodiment
  • Sobriety, stillness, sound, breath, movement to invite the soul back
  • Choosing to live in the body is the beginning of the invitation
  • More soul means more grief, more love, more aliveness
  • Need practices that restore presence; chiropractic, TRE, barefoot, vagal tone, play, pleasure
  • Rituals are simple; do them often
  • Drainage first, voltage always; slow down the timeline; honor the mitochondria, fascia, and detox pathways
  • Less is MUCH much more
  • Let the soul re-enter a regulated body
  • TUDCA can be too aggressive early on for the slow approach that is often needed for trauma
  • Heavy hydrogen or deuterium break the spin of ATP synthase
  • Mitochondria: molecular hydrogen, distilled water, sunlight, PEMF, DC current, oxygen, membrane repair
  • All the science in the world won’t matter if the soul does not feel safe to come home
  • It is my intention to welcome my soul essence back into my body
  • The intention is the container and the nervous system is the home
  • Sound, breath, movement, acupuncture, chiropractic to create flow
  • Release whatever disconnects you from the flesh
  • If you make the body safe, the soul will come back
  • Invite. Repeat. The answer is in the asking.
  • Your soul wants to come home and live fully in your body again
  • It has to feel safe and wanted and believe you will stay this time
  • If any part of you left when life got too hard, ask, invite, repeat, come back

Tracy Southwick, ND, HHP spoke on “Facing The New Pandemic: How Nervous System Dysregulation Impedes Healing” and shared:

  • Nervous system dysregulation is a new pandemic
  • A key part of foundational medicine
  • Anxiety, depression, insomnia related to nervous system dysregulation
  • 99 problems and 86 of them completely made up for no reason
  • What you focus on grows
  • Insane increases year over year since COVID
  • Searched for insomnia doubled from 2020 to 2024
  • Average American eats 58 pounds of seed oils and 66 pounds of sugar per year
  • Chronic stress impacts mitochondria in the brain
  • Teens on screens more than 4 hours a day twice as likely to have anxiety and three times as likely to be depressed
  • 30% increase in depression 5 years after tonsillectomy
  • 68% increase in depression, 44% increase in anxiety disorders, 94% increase in insomnia after COVID shots
  • Antibiotics impact on the microbiome increases anxiety and depression
  • Cancer is the result of missing organisms in the microbiome; specific organisms missing lead to specific cancers
  • Anxiety leads to growing the amygdala and shuts down the prefrontal cortex
  • An inflamed rain impacts the amygdala
  • The paradigm of “I have to be productive to be of value” is highly detrimental
  • “People only show me love and attention when I am sick” is a belief that may perpetuate the illness
  • Emotions clog the drainage funnel
  • What you say after “I am” defines your reality
  • If nervous system is dysregulated, pupils will commonly be very large
  • The observer of an act of kindness also benefits
  • Feeling is more powerful than thinking
  • Clients entrain with their practitioners
  • Vibrant Flow technique combines breathwork while holding specific fingers related to different organs; regulates nervous system and balance fields in the body
  • We burn 5-7 times more magnesium and B vitamins under stress
  • Diet, sun, nature, exercise/movement near infrared, grounding, breathwork, gratitude, EMF mitigation, sleep hygiene, track habits, community
  • Gratitude shifts the way the brain thinks
  • You can’t live in the past or the future if you are truly living in the present
  • TW20 on both sides should both muscle test strong; if not, the nervous system is dysregulated and you may not get results that are as accurate
  • Vagus nerve point below the ear is a signal of fight or flight
  • People who are medicated for thyroid and have good blood levels still have a predisposition to anxiety and depression; the problem is not fixed

Jaban Moore, DC spoke on “Nutrient Deficiencies Explained: Identifying and Recovering From Depletion” and shared:

  • He had Lyme disease and was easily injured when attempting to workout
  • Was more focused on root causes like Lyme, uranium, etc.
  • You cannot eat your way to health in today’s world
  • You would have to eat 5 apples today to get the same nutritional value as 1 apple in 1950
  • Not sure if a Carnivore diet provides every needed nutrient
  • Sickest people during COVID had lowest vitamin D
  • Gemini AI helpful for supplements; benefits and side effects
  • Nutrient deficiencies are way more common than we think
  • More deficiency -> more breakdown; more autism
  • 95% in the US have inadequate vitamin D; 95% omega-3; 84% vitamin E
  • Reduced soil quality, increased processed foods, lifestyle changing, lack of awareness
  • Real problems: over-reliance on symptom management, environmental toxins, stealth infections, genetic variations, chronic stress and trauma
  • If you are taking 30-40 supplements, you have expensive poop; cannot absorb all of that
  • Starting with BPC-157 or butyrate to improve later use of supplements
  • Hair testing looks at 30-90 days of information from that person; CBC is not adequate
  • Ferritin can be high with inflammation but may not be related to iron
  • Many pharmaceuticals lead to nutrient deficiencies
  • B vitamins deficiency common in those not eating meat; high level in the blood could be that they are not absorbing it into the cell
  • H. pylori can be in the body and not be a problem but can also be an issue that leads to lower B12
  • Sees B and D deficiencies with mold; mold patients often have multiple nutrient deficiencies
  • People want early wins (nervous system work) and then continue with their protocols
  • Anyone with a decent diet that is anemic is potentially dealing with parasites
  • With high ferritin, look for Lyme, parasites, and mold toxicity
  • Electrolytes are the body’s battery; have an adrenal cocktail instead of coffee
  • Electrolytes make your nervous system feel safe
  • The more problems you have, the more we can improve things, and the better you can feel
  • People have to feel that they can feel safe again
  • Toxicity leads to deficiency
  • Each metal impacts different nutrients
  • Infections cause nutrient deficiencies; steal your nutrients
  • Genetics are what could be; they do not mean the gene is causing a problem
  • Testing
    • CMP/CBC
    • Iron Panel
    • Vitamin D
    • Homocysteine
    • OAT; low B2 with mold; oxalates often fungus and mold; if abnormal mitochondrial markers or methylation think mold or radioactive elements

  • Low ALT, AST, LDH chronic stress
  • Roadmap: Test, Create a Safe Space, Supercharge the Cell, Open Detox Pathways, Cleanse, Rebuild and Maintain
  • Soil depletion is the next big human race problem

Kim Bruno, DC, CCN spoke on “Clinical Mastery of Laboratory Analysis of Toxic Load & Micronutrient Evaluation” and shared:

  • Always a pivotal time when your health begins to change
  • Labs may not test for silicone in breast implants but it may test for other related factors such as mold or BPA or parabens
  • Good to do serial testing to show improvements over time with a protocol
  • Every patient today should be tested for toxic exposures
  • Higher toxic burdens lead to multi-system symptoms or symptoms that don’t seem to make sense
  • Toxicity can be related to: genetics, environment, diet, lifestyle, immune system capacity, gender, body composition, age, micronutrient status, gut health including leaky gut and microbiome
  • Females have a higher toxic load than males due to adiposity
  • Fat is often the body trying to protect you from something that it does not know how to detoxify
  • Uses questionnaires from Vibrant, IFM, and CellCore to determine what tests to run
  • Urinary excretion testing is both current and past exposure; detox can make numbers go up
  • An all green test in a symptomatic patient is a big red flag; they aren’t excreting and are bioaccumulating everything
  • No NHANES reference ranges for mycotoxins
  • Make sure that the labs you use are validated towards NHANES
  • Still important to monitor green toxin results with serial testing
  • Look for patterns; don’t have to address every single one
  • All Vibrant Labs are non-provoked reference ranges; can provoke
  • Heavy metals cause oxidative stress, are toxic to beneficial organisms, deplete antioxidants, damage structure, reduce bile acid and amino acid metabolism, replace essential nutrients, grow gram-negative bacteria and increase LPS, and feed pathogens like Candida
  • Consider if mycotoxins are from ingestion or from the environment
  • Mycotoxins impact the gut: inflammation, increases pathogens, toxic to beneficial flora, damages epithelial lining, leaky gut, decreases protective mucin, decreases villi, oxidative stress, lower immune function
  • Environmental toxins on gut: inflammation, toxic to beneficial flora, dysbiosis, mucosal barrier, damages DNA cell line, increase ammonia, induces PAL pathways, reduces bile acid and amino acid metabolism, chelates nutrients
  • PFAs / Forever Chemicals – clothing, furniture, food packaging, non-stick cookware, adhesives, personal care products, ground water, food
  • Detoxing nutrient deficient patients may make them worse
  • Want nutrient testing that looks at both extracellular and intracellular; actual value using direct testing
  • If WBC are low, you could get some false highs; high WBCs could give false lows
  • Extracellular value is day of draw up to 1 week prior; WBC is past 3-4 weeks; RBC is 3-4 months
  • Nutrients link to body systems which link to symptoms
  • If extracellular looks good but intracellular does not, it could be a transport issue or using nutrients inside the cells
  • If fat soluble deficiencies appear as a pattern, they may be having issues with digesting fats

Andrew Kidder, DC spoke on “Patient First: Elevating Care, Empowering Practices” and shared:

  • A patient should be the first thought in everything a clinician does in practice

Mike Mutzel, MS spoke on “Foundations of Immunometabolism for Practicing Clinicians” and shared:

  • Oxygen is used in the mitochondria to breakdown glucose to create cellular energy
  • Cells that are stressed from inflammation in cancer or insulin resistance, there is a metabolic shift towards inflammation
  • Inflammation bi-products and cytokine cause insulin resistance
  • Insulin resistance <-> inflammation
  • Anti-inflammatories are better than anti-depressants
  • Immune system and metabolism are connected
  • If you have pre-diabetes or insulin resistance, you are likely chronically inflamed
  • If you are chronically inflamed, you will also likely have insulin resistance
  • Encourages to look at leptin and bioimpedance testing
  • Leptin should be higher in the morning and lower throughout the day; tells hypothalamus that we have enough energy and don’t need to keep eating
  • In overweight, leptin resistance leads to continued calorie craving
  • Leptin is pro-inflammatory; increases TNF-a, IL-17
  • Leptin is a cytokine
  • High body fat percentage or first morning leptin > 12 in men or 25 in women; difficult time modulating inflammation
  • Waist circumference: visceral adiposity leads to accumulation of many different immune cells in the fat tissue
  • Lymph drainage is important when trying to reduce fat; rebounding, sauna, cold plunge
  • When people are overweight and lose body fat, joint pain in the hands goes away
  • Losing body fat takes load off of immune system; shift to anti-inflammatory Treg cells
  • Vitamin D pivots immune system toward anti-inflammatory; increases Treg cells
  • TNFa changes neuroglial signaling in the brain and increases triglycerides
  • 93% of US adults have insulin resistance; triglycerides should be between 60-80 (fasted)
  • High fasting triglycerides; sauna, post-meal walks to decrease glucose, insulin, and triglycerides
  • Walk 10-12K steps per day
  • LDL is an endotoxin sponge; could be a protection against what is happening in the GI tract
  • Would never recommend red yeast rice; not getting at the root cause
  • Many with heart attacks have low cholesterol
  • Look at fasted and non-fasted triglycerides; lipid load test; should never more than double
  • BulletProof coffee raised his triglycerides; his increased 3 times; fat increases endotoxin impact

Robert Whitfield, MD spoke on “Breast Implant Illness: Unpacking the Science, Symptoms and How to Recover” and shared:

  • Cancer -> reconstruction
  • People outside of cities with 1 million people would not find someone like him
  • He did reconstructive technique with a deep flap for 19 years
  • Genetic testing identifies why he sees what he sees; poor detoxifiers, Vitamin D SNPs
  • BII is a chronic inflammatory process where a medical device plays a role
  • He does not suggest explant surgery; patients have already made that decision
  • Sleep, air, fluid, food quality, and supplements

  • Textured silicone implants are the most immunogenic
  • 29% of his explants show bacterial contamination
  • 3 ways to get infection: operating room contamination, surgeon placement, blood borne (most common)
  • Does antibiotics for any surgery in those with implants
  • Symptoms of breast implant illness get worse over time; bacterial contaminant impacts the immune system and changes polarization of macrophages
  • SHART – Strategic Holistic Accelerated Recovery Program
  • Look at 90 day intervals, not all rainbows and unicorns, recheck toxicity test, slow progress is better than no progress, years of environmental exposures and poor behaviors are not solved through surgery
  • Should not rush to have surgery; it is a process
  • 2 million implants placed annually worldwide
  • Over 10 years, about 1/3 of them will have BII
  • Ask if you have a prosthetic device of any kind; patients often don’t disclose
  • Having implants from 1982 is like driving a car from 1982; likely ruptured and leaking
  • Scar tissue around an implant does not block the interaction between you/immune system and the implant
  • Chelsie Ward from his team then spoke
    • She got COVID and had terrible hair loss and many other symptoms
    • Led to exploration of her own breast implants
    • Had her implants removed 2 years ago and did a CellCore protocol
    • Pre-surgery they look for impaired detox genetic pathways, declining hormones and immune health, food sensitivity testing, stool testing, toxicity testing
    • Implants are not lifelong, after 10 years risk of rupture goes up each year
    • Low testosterone commonly observed
    • Sees more parasites in breast implant patients than any other population
    • Not common to see a moldy implant or mycotoxins
    • Mycotoxins are from the food or the environment and detox impairments
    • Mycotoxins can delay a surgical plan
    • Don’t want surgical patients living in mold
    • Fat transfers don’t work well in an unhealth body
    • Start o CellCore Phase 1 (Carboxy / MYC Protocol)
    • They work with patients for about a year
    • Some may still feel like they have BII if they don’t do a detox protocol after

Jane Levesque, ND spoke on “Premature Ovarian Insufficiency - Is Her Time Up?“ and shared:

  • IVF is not working and leads to even worse health compared to when they got started
  • Premature ovarian insufficiency: decrease in primordial follicle number, increase in apoptosis or follicle destruction, failure of follicle to respond to gonadotropin stimulation
  • Mitochondria key to treating this disease
  • 6-7 million follicles at 20–40-week gestation, 700,000 at birth, 400,000 at puberty; lose 20-30 follicles per cycle
  • Regenerative therapies are leading to being able to have babies later than before
  • Ovary is where hormones are made; storing oocytes that can become a human life
  • Cannot treat just the physical; it is a spiritual journey
  • Ovary is the direct portal to the source
  • It’s not that you have no eggs left, just don’t have any mature to go on to ovulate
  • Why are the eggs sleeping and not maturing?
  • Inhibitory factors are AMH to inhibit how many follicles; also inflammation, oxidative stress, metabolic health, toxins
  • Stimulatory are nutrients: CoQ10, D, omega, aminos
  • Nutrient deficiencies are caused by toxicities
  • Quality of egg optimization takes 9-12 months minimum; not 3 months
  • Mitochondria are essential; oocyte more mitochondria than any other cell type
  • 100% of mitochondrial DNA comes from other
  • Aging leads to decline and lower oocyte quality and fertilization rates
  • Mitochondrial health is essential
  • Mutations in mitochondrial DNA are also passed down; there is a trigenerational effect
  • How do we repair the mitochondrial DNA damage?
  • Fertility rates and birth rates are dropping
  • History taking is powerful; what happened when? How much damage has the body and soul accumulated?
  • Important to not go on birth control for at least 2 years after starting period
  • Birth control pills can lead to ovarian issues
  • Ask about mom and grandmother’s pregnancy
  • Women are disconnected, unaware, inflamed, toxic, infected
  • Ovaries are the first organs to age; sensitive to oxidative damage
  • Testing: hormones, gut, methylation, STD, toxins, vaginal biome, DUTCH, nutrient panels
  • Treatment
    • Drainage and energy: drainage, mitochondria, methylation
    • Inflammation: blood sugar, lifestyle, toxicity, weight
    • Get rid of infections: parasites, fungi, bacteria, viral; treat both partners
    • Detox: this is such a thing as too much detox; goldfish in the tub; water coming in is your environment; drains need to be opened; film on the tub is detox; need to drain before detox; some cannot do the “scrub”
    • Optimize – mitochondria, methylation
  • Couples share a microbiome
  • Bugs hold space for what we energetically have not processed
  • Some have had microbes since birth and cannot differentiate what is the bug from what is self
  • Treatment: right therapy, right person, right time; should be getting better every month
  • FSH over 10 is an issue with communication between the ovaries and the brain; FSH is the parent; ovary is the child
  • You can and you do pass toxins along to your child
  • Takes 6-12 months to create a safe place for a baby to grow and thrive
  • 13 genes involved in methylation and many nutrients; not just folate and B vitamins
  • Methylation is what repairs DNA
  • The follicle picks the sperm; the ovary fixes any DNA issues within the sperm; if the egg is struggling, it can’t efficiently repair the rubbish sperm
  • A man’s sperm needs to make up for the woman’s ovarian insufficiency
  • Work out because you love your body; not because you are fearful
  • 3-4 month focus on infection management
  • Essentially doing anti-aging medicine for these people
  • Ubiquinol has been huge; 12mg/kg body weight; up to 1200mg a day
  • Be thorough, be more aggressive than you think, implement as many detox options without overwhelming, implement biohacks (red light, EMF blocking, detox foot baths)
  • Males need to be on board from day 1
  • Who does this couple need to become to bring a soul into this world?

Ellie Anderson, RD spoke on “Healing the Whole Woman: Embracing a Slowdown to Speed Up Healing” and shared:

  • Soil is depleted and we need healthier soil
  • Lack of healing often related to living in mold or stealth oral infections or breast implants
  • Sneaky reasons: trauma, chronic fight or flight, not feeling safe
  • The goal of every cycle is to procreate; even if it is not the goal of the woman, it is the goal of the body
  • Body prioritizes health and safety over procreation
  • Toxic load leads to earlier start of cycles
  • GAS: General Adaptation Syndrome – Alarm, Resistance, Exhaustion
  • The body does not know the difference between perceived threat and physical threat
  • Alarm – hypothalamus -> adrenals -> adrenaline/cortisol; decreased parasympathetic -> increased sympathetic -> increased amygdala and decreased hippocampal activity; increased heart rate, blood sugar, respiration, blood pressure
  • Gut motility is slowed when running from a bear; fertility is shutdown
  • Resistance – heighted alertness counteracting stressor -> ongoing adrenaline and cortisol; could be beneficial or detrimental; if the stressor is not removed, adaptive capacity is exceeded; increase in blood pressure and sugar, fatigue irritable, muscle testing, digestive issues
  • 88% of people have metabolic dysfunction; related to our rushing lifestyle
  • Cortisol, adrenaline, sugar feed insulin resistance and shutdown due to not feeling safe
  • Exhaustion – no longer able to maintain immune system, coping, energy, brain function; body is in shutdown; extreme fatigue, burnout, depression, irritability, anxiety, sex hormone dysfunction; cannot make a new human
  • Pregnenolone is shunted to cortisol to stay alive
  • Body prioritize survival
  • Non-essential functions that are shutdown: new growth, metabolism, reproduction, gut motility, immunity, brain function
  • Cortisol and adrenaline reduce usable sex hormone, shutdowns gut, increase blood sugar and blood pressure; liver stress, adrenal stress, sex hormone compromise, drainage funnel blockage
  • Fat is storage to protect you from toxins; people will hold more weight when they have a blocked drainage funnel
  • In exhaustion, minerals are depleted, nutrition is depleted, cortisol is high, melatonin increases (body tries to put you to sleep to stop running from the bear), adaptation eventually fails
  • Replete: CT Minerals, Core Nutrients, ME Support
  • If you are not pooping before 10am every day, you are probably constipated
  • Often sees high or low cortisol with high melatonin and high hormone metabolites (body not putting puzzle pieces together)
  • The body will not heal if it does not feel safe enough to do so
  • Create safety, decrease cortisol, get out of GAS; then detox, kill, cleanse
  • Control cortisol: breathwork, journaling, laying with your legs on a wall for 10 minutes at a time, adequate sleep, find joy
  • Create safety – ME Support; focus on safe, healthy relationships and workspaces
  • Create stability – IFC, berberine, polyphenols, GCO
  • Reduce or omit caffeine
  • Exercise for your cycle: lifting weights, walking, building in time for recovery
  • Ashwagandha, magnolia, theanine, barrenwort
  • CT Minerals, Core Nutrients, adrenal cocktails, electrolytes
  • 30 grams of fiber
  • Limit processed foods, sugars, seed oils
  • Polyphenol rich foods
  • Pre and probiotics (caution with histamine issues)
  • Find intentional healing; your body is worth it
