About a decade ago, I was exploring what was then called the iinnLight and eventually led to the development of the DreamSpa home unit. It was a photobiomodulation-based tool that I enjoyed and used quite often at the time.
 
The company later contacted me to provide an update on their Auragen device which is the evolution of their earlier system with some very nice new features.
 
Beyond photobiomodulation, their latest device includes Gamma light and sound, Theta light, and music. The Gamma brainwave stimulation uses a 40Hz frequency for optimizing brain function. Theta uses a 5Hz frequency that "feels like a restorative power-nap."
 
I'm always looking for more tools to help with calming the system as I believe this is a critical step to set the stage for healing. I don't know that I have made it through a full session yet without falling asleep.
