I had the opportunity to attend ECO 2023 held online on May 18-20, 2023.   ECO stands for Exponential Clinical Outcomes.  This is one of the more forward-thinking events I have attended.

The event is the brainchild of Dr. Todd Watts and Dr. Jay Davidson who also created CellCore Biosciences.  I'm grateful for their products, and I use them daily.

Tom Cowan, MD presented on “Biology and Medicine” and shared:

  • The heart doesn’t pump the blood
  • Blocked arteries don’t cause heart attacks
  • Cancer has nothing to do with genetics
  • No such thing as a contagion or a virus
  • You don’t have to know what is true to know something isn’t true
  • If you say there are viruses, you need to know how the virologists have proven there are viruses
  • What doesn’t make you sick?
  • Misconception: that there is a virus
  • Virus: considered to be a physical thing with a protein coat and DNA/RNA inside; uses cell to replicate; kills the cell, bursts out, finds new cells or new person; replicating, contagious, infectious; causes disease; these are a reification fallacy
  • Do sick people or sick animals make well people sick?
  • 1918 Spanish Flu – 50 million died; 2 major studies attempting to infect others showed 0 people got sick from their efforts
  • Contagion studies all negative
  • Sexually transmitted diseases – may not be about organisms; in early days of syphilis, they used mercury to treat lesions; the mercury then led to symptoms in other sexual partners as it was concentrated in semen and vaginal secretions
  • Mike Stone – viroliegy.com
  • Filterable agents – no one looked for COVID in biological fluid
  • Not one paper shows there is such a particle in any biological fluid of any sick person
  • Inability to find viruses in samples is not a technical problem; they can’t find them because they are not there
  • Isolation is the prerequisite for studying anything
  • No virus has ever been isolated or purified from any biological fluid
  • No way to tell the difference between broken down kidney or lung and any so-called pathogenic virus
  • There is no COVID virus; it is debris broken down from cells
  • HIV had nothing to do with AIDS
  • What makes us sick?
  • What is a human being made of?  Head, ears, eyes, hands, fingers, torso, legs, feet, etc.; underneath is organs, vessels, nerves
  • mRNA goes to ribosomes and are turned into spike proteins
  • Many therapies are based on sodium potassium pump; need 20-30 times the amount of ATP in order to make the process work as the whole cell has in total; no proof that any of this happens; no ACE2 receptors, no serotonin, no receptors in the cell membranes
  • ATP has nothing to do with energy
  • Does DNA code for proteins?
  • Said to have 150-200K proteins coded for by one gene; we have 20K genes; 130K or so genes have no code
  • There is no blood-brain barrier
  • Antibodies made to infection; remember and make immune; being divorced once does not mean you have immunity to another divorce
  • Measles virus reproduces and grows for a week; make non-specific IgM for 2 weeks; specific IgG for rest of life; both understand the concept of weeks
  • No such thing as an autoimmune disease
  • Water creates structure; Veda Austin’s work; https://www.vedaaustin.com
  • Water and blood circulate due to being bulk water and falling down
  • Have an antenna that downloads from the world around us into our water to create healing and generate energy
  • Every disease is an energy deficit
  • He will be rolling out teachings on this new model

Tim Griswold, MSc spoke on “Misconceptions About pH, and Alkalinity vs. Acidity” and shared:

  • Myths
    • All acids are bad
    • Should I only consume alkaline materials?
    • If I consume low pH items, my blood pH will lower
    • Cells should exist only between 7.44 and 7.88 to be healthy
    • When cells drop below 6.48 pH, cancer occurs
  • pH is a reflection of concentration of hydrogen ions or OH ions
  • Low pH is higher hydrogen concentration; high pH is higher OH concentration
  • Aloe 6.10; apples 3; these calculations were from blended foods and may not be the same as unblended foods
  • Alkaline diet avoids acid forming foods; avoids many things that are beneficial for you
  • Food classified in terms of what foods do in terms of pH when digested
  • Any food you eat will start to produce acid in the stomach; are all foods bad?
  • Bile and pancreatic juices are more alkaline and neutralize acids
  • Duodenum is intended to neutralize stomach acid
  • Eat -> stomach breaks down foods with hormones and acid -> enters duodenum which requires a base -> absorbed -> water removed through protons (acids/electrons) -> waste
  • A salt is an already reacted form of something that could be useful
  • Buffers are protective shields or cushions; bicarbonates, phosphates, intra/extracellular proteins, hemoglobin, lungs/CO2, kidneys proton exchange
  • Food pHs are buffered within the body
  • CO2 is not the bad guy; CO2 + water help to maintain blood pH
  • When we breath in air, we bring in CO2; we need CO2 and water
  • Kidneys need to operate in low pH environment
  • Where there is too much acid or strong base because you exceed the buffering capacity
  • Lactic acidosis is too much L-lactate via lowered pH of blood stream
  • Too many toxins can overwhelm the buffering capacity
  • Carbon tech: humic, fulvic, polysaccharides, polyelectrolytes
  • Eating low pH things will not lower blood pH; with a caveat that it can get out of whack
  • Acidity is a mitochondrial dysfunction driven by toxicity; aerobic respiration is not occurring as it should be
  • Lack of oxygenation and toxicity contribute to lactic acidosis
  • Have to look at the toxicity side of things
  • Eating alkaline to be healthy is not as straightforward as that

  • Pets can carry parasites and pass to humans
  • Testing for parasites similar to Lyme; difficult
  • Clinical suspicion: stuck patients, super complex patients, unresolving dysbiosis, chronic sinusitis, chronic headaches
  • Direct testing is generally not very accurate or sensitive
  • Relies on kinesiology
  • Indirect: antibodies, Th2 (Lymphocyte MAP), eosinophils, basophils, monocytes
  • Basophils > 1% may indicated helminths/nematodes; not always in the blood and not always elevated when chronic
  • Monocytes over 7% may be hookworms; sensitivity not great
  • Eosinophils 3% or higher may indicate parasites
  • The worm/parasite topic is the next big thing
  • ParaWellness Research can be a good option for testing; PCI is another option

  • Some of her more complex Lyme cases were resolved with parasite protocols
  • Dr. Hulda Clark is a good introduction to understand that parasite are linked to many different health conditions

  • Carnivore diet created stability in his body; now 95% meat and 5% plants
  • 2020 Food Pyramid update was not based on science; failed to make any useful changes
  • Looks at levels of evidence to support what good nutrition should be
  • Hypothesis is an educated guess
  • Too many biochemical reactions in the body for any one single chemical to cause disease
  • Animal protein does not cause cancer
  • No science to show that red meat causes cancer or heart disease
  • There are zero scientific studies that show vegetables are healthy for humans
  • 100% of 31 patients with psychological conditions in one study improved with a ketogenic diet
  • Need to eat fat and protein
  • Heart disease: diabetes, insulin resistance, metabolic syndrome, hypertension, obesity, smoking, triglycerides; sugar and seed oils; LDL not significant
  • Plants have many toxins within them such as phytates, oxalates, cyanide, tannins, salicylates, lectins, nutrient blockers, hormone disrupters, solanine
  • Brussels sprouts have 136 known poisons
  • Native diet is obligate carnivore; you have to eat meat
  • Native metabolic state is fasted and ketosis
  • Most nutritious foods are liver and red meat; white meat next
  • Eat pounds of meat per day
  • Primary digestive hormone is glucagon; insulin is for emergencies
  • No pre or post workout foods or snacking; just meals
  • Diet is an experiment for the rest of your life
  • This is how food is medicine
  • You become more human the more meat that you eat
  • Fasting works because it mimics the Carnivore diet; ketogenic diet mimics Carnivore diet
  • Carnivore diet is the best to get rid of parasites; those with ongoing parasites saw the mother worm come out after moving to strict Carnivore

Ian Hosein, PhD spoke on “Exposing the Effects of Environmental Toxins” and shared:

  • Endocrine disruptors, forever chemicals, insecticides/herbicides need more awareness
  • Endocrine disrupters can lead to gender confusion
  • Forever chemicals in non-stick cookware, waterproof clothing, food packaging, carpets, and firefighting foam; even diapers.
  • Of all chemicals to worry about, carbon dioxide is the last; actually good for the environment
  • Everything they tell you is dangerous is probably safe; everything they tell you is safe is probably dangerous
  • Disease-causing chemicals are everywhere
  • Don't just focus on those that seek you out, but advocate for everyone's health
  • We are all exposed and at risk
  • Detox can no longer be a protocol; it must be our lifestyle

Jack Kunkel, PhD spoke on “Clinical Pearls: How I Approach Metabolism & Weight Loss Cases” and shared:

  • Weight loss resistance: food, toxins, water/air, emotional trauma, environment, sleep, exercise, lifestyle, pathogens
  • Toxins may open the door to pathogens that then cause weight gain
  • Uses muscle testing to find the issues to create weight loss resistance; toxicity, emotional, pathogen
  • CellCore Metabolic Activator may be helpful
  • PARA 3 is the “sledgehammer” of the CellCore products
  • Brain mitochondria often can be related to brain fog
  • Starts most patients with BC-ATP; can be helpful with biofilms
  • Drink distilled water, decrease eating window, get good sleep, take CellCore products

Tracy Southwick, MBSR-MP, ND spoke on “Are Unprocessed Emotions Clogging Your Drainage Funnel?” and shared:

  • Emotions impact our ability to release toxins
  • Address 3 things to release emotions: identify, address, give steps to change patterns
  • Options: ME Support, tapping, EFT, essential oils, Emotion Code, Flower Essences, Mind Body Spirit Release
  • Sick, low energy people pick up on more emotions as their etheric field is damaged
  • Emotions can be stored in the ECM
  • Mitochondrial health: desperation, helplessness, hopelessness, perfectionism, feeling unsupported, feeling unworthy
  • Talking about, being part of support groups, taking on the identify of the illness can lead to over-identification with illness; vibrant health is then unavailable
  • "I am healing from chronic Lyme"
  • Body takes a snapshot of exposure to physical or emotional toxin; who you are with, what you smell, the emotions; always an emotion connected with a toxic exposure
  • Intestinal health: holding onto, hanging onto, disappointment, frantic, anxious, unneeded
  • Liver/gallbladder: anger, rage, destructive, forced, resentment, inefficiency, lack of expression, contracted, inflexible
  • Addressing emotions often breaks through not tolerating supplements
  • Lymph: hanging on, not letting go, unable to move forward, lack of focus, lack of control, worry, feeling stuck, fear of rejection

Melissa Rose, AFCM spoke on “You Have the Tools for Autoimmune Clients: A Foundational Medicine Approach” and shared:

  • Taught there is no cure for autoimmune diseases; only to manage and slow
  • She was diagnosed with MS
  • The body is not broken
  • Our default setting is to be well
  • The body has the capacity and tools inside to be well
  • We all have the knowing inside that we need to be well but may need someone to help us hear and act
  • The body never does anything without a reason
  • Symptoms are a cry for help
  • Many believe there is no cure for autoimmune diseases
  • One autoimmune disease often leads to several
  • An event or trigger the body cannot handle or a prolonged event; infection, emotion, toxin
  • Higher oxidative stress, tissue damage, poor inflammation resolution
  • Increased intestinal permeability and malabsorption
  • Excess load on adrenals, thyroid, hormones
  • Reduced ability to detoxify
  • Genetics may play a role
  • Ask about childhood trauma in MS and Fibromyalgia clients
  • Testing: bloodwork, DUTCH, food sensitivity, GI MAP, OAT
  • Phase 1: Drainage, detox, binding, inflammation, food breakdown/absorption
  • Phase 2: Gut and Immune Support; parasite support, bacterial/viral load support
  • Phase 3: Whole Body Immune Support; mold, trauma
  • Phase 4: Deeper Immune Support

Brittany Sena, HHP spoke on “Emergency Hacks for Pediatrics” and shared:

  • Contagion doesn’t exist the way they say it does
  • Not a single virus has ever been purely isolated
  • Better to detox when there are fewer contaminants; can detox better when the body gets a break
  • Best way to detox is to open drainage pathways
  • Must-haves: all-around binder, biotoxin binder, heavy metal and environmental toxin binder, powdered binders
  • Microbes aren’t the problem, toxins are
  • Castor oil is a favorite topical carrier oil for essential oils to get deep into the body
  • She uses Carboxy in a “dirt bath”
  • ViRadChem for binding VOCs

Jimmy Scaringi, NRT spoke on “Solutions & Corrections of Food Allergies” and shared:

  • The body attacking itself is a fallacy
  • The body will cleanup its terrain at all costs
  • 85 million Americans live with life-threatening food allergies and intolerances
  • Egg allergy most common food allergy in infants with dermatitis
  • Influenza vaccine contains egg whites; others prepared on egg or chicken embryos
  • Peanut oil has ben used in vaccines since 1960s and not listed on the ingredients
  • Roundup increases intestinal permeability and impacts the microbiome
  • Roundup impacts creation of tyrosine and thus the thyroid
  • Diminished thyroid -> diminished HCl -> lower body temp -> more microbes
  • Roundup impacts folate; MTHFR is likely not the core issue
  • Filtration is filtering the toxin out of the water; distillation removes the water from the toxin
  • US allows 6x more glyphosate than is allowed in Europe
  • Roundup is 125 times more toxic than glyphosate alone
