Over time, my focus has shifted more towards the BetterHealthGuy Blogcast podcast.  While I have left much of the older site content, please note that older content may no longer be relevant or even consistent with my current view on health and wellness.  As time permits, I will continue to adjust earlier content as able.  Thanks for your interest and support!

By far the best book I have read on Lyme disease and all that comes with it is the recent book by Dr. Richard Horowitz MD entitled "Why Can't I Get Better?  Solving The Mystery of Lyme and Chronic Disease".  I wish this book had been available when I first became ill in 1997 or when I was finally diagnosed with Lyme in 2005.

I'm working my way through it now and beyond impressed with the remarkable effort that has gone into it.  The information is more than comprehensive and so many important points are made throughout this book.

This book is a must-have for anyone dealing with Lyme or other often-related conditions such as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, Multiple Sclerosis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lupus, and others.

For me, I think the best way to use this book is to first share it with your doctor if they are not already an expert on everything it discusses and then to use the book to create your own list of questions to explore with your doctor in your ongoing work together.  The more informed we all are about the options that are available to us and the more we can discuss these with our practitioners, the better.

I am so grateful to Dr. Horowitz for putting out such an excellent resource for all of us!
