At the February meeting of Lymelighters, Dr. Tedde Rinker, DO presented on the topic of "Wilson's Temperature Syndrome and Lyme Disease". I found the presentation to be very insightful and informative.
Thyroid issues are very common in those of us with Lyme disease. Having a doctor knowledgeable in treating thyroid, adrenal, and other endocrine-related issues is a key to the recovery of almost anyone with Lyme disease.
I applaud doctors like Dr. Rinker who are helping to educate the patient population so that we are equipped to ask our doctors the right questions and to participate in our own health journey.

Another GREAT month at Lymelighers!
